Our Story
Hi, I Am Ainsley!
Farm Hill Kitchen grew from the love to cook for other people and to find recipes not only my family but others can love as well. I grew up in the city of Winnipeg and made my way out to rural Manitoba after I met my husband. I now live on a grain farm with my husband and two children and I love it! It does get very busy, especially during the warmer months. When I’m not cooking, I am usually enjoying time with my family or friends, finding a new dinner spot to try, or planning my next music event to attend.
Why Farm Hill Kitchen?
The name Farm Hill Kitchen came from the physical location of our farm yard. Being in the flood zone of the mighty Red River, our house is perched on a prairie like “hill” to divert water during a flood. It is the place you will find me most often when I have time to spare, prepping meals for my own family or experimenting with new recipes.
Where do I cook?
All meals are cooked out of a licensed commercial kitchen. This is a shared kitchen so I am unable to be absolutely sure of the presence of any allergens.
